It gives a low end rumble, while eliminating any overtones, or extensive Resonance. The Remo Falam Slam patch adds a bit more attack and a little bit of a \"clicking\" sound to your kick. If you use this patch, you shouldnt use a Ball shaped beater, as it will not make a very good sound.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin-bottom:14px\"\u003eI dont have any Experience with the Powerstroke 3 Ebony Kick Reso, but im sure it works as great as the Batter. So in conclusion, this head is great on Snare drum batters (top heads) , and kick drums (Top and bottom)Read less review ... This snare head was not for me. I need allot of crack in my snare. I would not recomend this snare head to anyone who is playing and metal or hard rock.
