... It is the most long played head on my drum set. Usually I tune low my snare drum 14x6. 5. High quality resonator head from Remo, coated. This, plus a new remo top, has brought my old snare back to life. However, when tuning another metal snare and at higher tunings it was not as appropriate as an Ambassador.
Also note that some novices have confused a snare-side resonant head (the underneath one with the wires next to it) with a batter head (the top one that you hit). This is a resonant head.
