I tested several headphones in conjunction with my Yamaha P-525 piano... Yamaha HPH-150B, AKG K-702, beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro 80 Ohm, and Sennheiser HD 560S... Once I bought original ear pads for the 990 and was disappointed to see that they differed from the original ones in size (they were just a different batch), even the left one was larger than the right one((.
Since then I have been disappointed in "beyerdynamic".
