Nice sturdy but smooth outer material with soft thick cushioning inside. The zip is very good quality and has a nice flowing feel to use too. Not chunky but more than substantial. The handles are also feel very strong. There is also an included shoulder strap that can be attached an is same feel and quality of the handles.
