They are a single driver in ear monitor so they have a little more high end but they sound great! ... I've purchased several custom-fitted in-ear monitors for more money than I want to admit. I was always disappointing with the comfort level (or should I say discomfort) that occurred several hours into wearing them.
Then I read the positive review of these Mackie IOMs in RECORDING magazine and figured I'd give them a try. To my great surprise, these IOMs are 10x more comfortable at 1/10th the price with much more than adequate sound fidelity for the stage or for daily use. And the MP-120's are the least expensive of the 3 Mackie models available!
