Novation Launchkey Mini 37 MK4 MIDI Keyboard
In its highly compact housing, this affordable controller packs a keyboard with 37 keys, 16 drum pads, eight encoders, and an arpeggiator, with additonal controls for playback and plugin parameters . Making it even more flexible is the fact that the Launchkey Mini 37 is class-compliant – that is, it's compatible with all common music apps for iPad and iPhone, while its MIDI connection ports can also be used to receive data from hardware synthesizers.
The Novation Components software makes it possible to create user-defined mappings for flexible settings, which can be stored in the controller's internal memory and loaded easily using the keyboard. The Novation Launchkey 37 Mini MK4 is the fourth generation of the British synth manufacturer's successful compact controller.
As always, it can be seamlessly integrated into all widely used DAWs to enable an authentic, hardware-controlled workflow. Producers can also connect the Launchkey 37 Mini to an iPad or iPhone for intuitive manual control – in addition, the controller can also send MIDI data to external synthesizers or drum computers via the corresponding ports on its rear side.

“Other than the physical control differences, the 61 and 49 also have a facility for splitting and zoning the keyboard, which the smaller ones do not. The Launchkey 37 and 25 lose the faders and keep the full‑sized keys but with a synth‑action feel. Whereas the Launchkey Mini 37 and 25 reduce down to a more compact form, with comfortable mini‑keys and the simplicity of pitch and modulation touchstrips.
