Featuring 64 RGB mini pads and 16 responsive buttons, it aligns seamlessly with Ableton Live, offering a clear and accessible interface for both live performance and spontaneous recording sessions. The Launchpad Mini MK3 can also be used with iPad and iPhone: In combination with compatible apps, it enables direct control of loops, sounds, and effects – ideal for mobile production and spontaneous performance.
The English company Novation has been producing affordable popular synthesizers as well as MIDI controllers and keyboards since its foundation in 1992. The browser-based editor Novation Components lets users design custom modes for the Launchpad Mini MK3, allowing each pad within the 8x8 grid to be assigned as a note, a MIDI CC, or a programme change message.
The pads can be arranged and configured in multiple ways, functioning as triggers, switches or buttons depending on the desired setup.

“I find it remarkable how the smallest tweaks to a design can make previous versions appear dated so quickly. Novation have followed Native Instruments into the neatness of straight lines and square angles.
