The 3-band EQ provides a sweepable midrange for precise sound-sculpting, while the gain and blend controls add grit and fullness . I'm running my Epi Thunderbird through one of these bad boys and the tone is incredible. It's warm and luscious, yet somehow punchy and articulate at the same time.
The parametric mid EQ is a great tool that allows you to sculpt your tone for any situation. The bi-amp setup is brilliant, the distortion on this thing sounds absolutely fantastic. Pumping 100W through a custom-voiced 15" speaker, this all-analog amp delivers punchy, defined lows and rich harmonic overtones.

“Dialling in some bass EQ injects a warm thud into proceedings without blurring note detail, and increasing the treble unearths a raspy edge and biting attack without the snappy click you get from a horn.
