Remo Ambassador Coated Bass Drumhead - 22 inches In Stock! Considered by many to be the industry standard, Remo's Coated Ambassador bass drumheads provide you with an exceptional balance of attack and tone — all for an amazingly low price! Coated Ambassador drumheads are made from a single layer of 10-mil Mylar that's been treated to have a warmer attack, which complements its open resonance and full sound perfectly.
They're excellent-sounding beater heads, no matter what style of music you play. Great bass drum head for a vintage set! If you want to tone down the ring, just use an old school felt strip. ... Bought this 22" BD head to be used as a resonant head on a 1986 Ludwig kit I'm restoring.
I used this because I had a 1940s era Ludwig logo I wanted to apply to it. After some interior muffling, this head - along with a REMO PS3 Costed Pinstripe head on the batter side is performing admirably.
Detailed technical specifications are shown in the Overview section above.
