12", 2-ply, 14-mil Batter/Resonant Drumhead - Clear Red With the Remo Colortone series, adding visual flair to your kit is as easy as swapping heads. Emperor Colortones sport the same sound characteristics, projection, and durability as standard 2-ply Emperor Clears, but they come in vibrant colors to command new audience attention.
Emperor Colortones won't chip or leave marks on your sticks; they use Remo's Skyndeep technology to infuse pigment into the structure of the film. And since Emperor Colortones are tinted to match classic jelly bean kit colors, they're a sure hit for acrylic players. The latest Skyndeep technology infuses pigment directly into the structure of the film used in all Remo Colortone series drumheads.
This means they neither chip through playing nor leave marks on sticks, for heads that stay looking good as they wear. The classic 2-ply Emperor drumhead has been a mainstay among recording artists and live performers for decades.
