The sE Electronics RN17 is a small-diaphragm condenser from sE's Rupert Neve Signature Series, pairing a hand-crafted, gold-sputtered true condenser capsule with a full-scale output transformer custom-designed by Rupert Neve.
The large, hand-wound transformer delivers clarity across the whole spectrum with the weight and headroom of a Neve signal path. It covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 200 Ω with 18 dB(A) self-noise (cardioid), ships with a cardioid capsule and a custom shockmount, and accepts the RN17 omni capsule, sold separately.
