Overview
The sE Electronics sE4100 matched pair gives you two cardioid-only versions of the multi-pattern sE4400, each built around the same hand-crafted brass capsule with twin 1-inch gold-sputtered diaphragms.
A 10 or 20 dB pad and a switchable low-cut adapt them to vocals, piano, drum overheads, brass and guitar cabinets. Each mic covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 25 mV/Pa with 9 dB(A) self-noise and handles 137 dB SPL, or 147 / 157 dB with the pad. The housing is roadworthy die-cast metal with metal switches and a spring-steel mesh grille. Factory-matched pairs are tested, tuned in-house and sonically matched for stereo work, and ship in a latched flight case with two shockmounts and a stereo bar.
