The T8V pairs an 8-inch polypropylene woofer with ADAM Audio's handmade U-ART accelerated ribbon tweeter, which reproduces high frequencies with exceptional clarity and a wide sweet spot. Bi-amped Class D power — 70W for the woofer and 20W for the tweeter — drives a frequency response of 33 Hz to 25 kHz and a maximum SPL of around 118 dB per pair. A rear-firing bass-reflex port reinforces the low end, while rear controls let you tune the response to your room.

“The Adam Audio T8V is the largest model in the company’s T-Series monitor range for home studios. It’s for DJ/producers who want a bit more “oomph” from their speakers and have the desk space for them. Not as versatile as the excellent and inexpensive T5V, but if you want big sound and clear highs without breaking the bank (and you’ve got the room for it) you’ll find a lot to like here.”Read full review →
“Streaky made a good observation when reviewing the T8V's: that with the addition of a sub, the T8V can focus it's sweet spot on the upper bass and mids. Maybe this is less important for nearfield position and low-to-mid volume but something to consider for detailed, loud, reference work. ADAM make the T10S sub to match, if needed.
